These Inadequacies may result in faulty neurotransmission as well as anxiety, depression, migraine headaches, mood disorders, hyperactivity and decreased concentration. Low magnesium has also been linked to sudden cardiac death, mitral valve prolapsed, diabetes and hypertension.

Several Research Studies have shown that supplementation with 80 mg to 200 mg of magnesium daily improves anxiety, depression and ADD and ADHD symptoms.

Most multivitamins have between 20mg to 50 mg of magnesium. This may be plenty of supplementation if you, or your children, are eating foods that are rich in magnesium such as green leafy vegetables, lot of whole grains, walnuts, cashews, and peanuts, beans, fish, pumpkin, bananas, avocados, raisins, milk products and tomato paste but is likely not enough if you are not and if this is the case then supplementation is required.

Magnesium is an essential nutritional element that may be deficient in the diet of most Americans. High schoolers in particular, are likely to have magnesium Inadequacies. Magnesium is lost through respiration and sweating and active people are more at risk for having borderline low magnesium levels than people who are sedentary. Eating foods high in magnesium or supplementing your diet with a magnesium vitamin is essential to avoid the poor health outcomes that result from low magnesium levels.

Check your multivitamin to insure that you and your children are getting enough magnesium. Those of us, who like hot chocolate and coffee, have yet another reason to drink more of these beverages. It turns out that cocoa and caffeine both contain a fair amount of magnesium. Some of the mood lifting effects of chocolate and coffee could be attributed to these magnesium levels.

The research community is only now learning that nutritional substances such as calcium, magnesium and zinc also play a role in moderating our mood and our behavior.

By supplementing our diets with magnesium we may avoid worsening the symptoms of ADHD and may, in the process not only improve our overall health but also diminish the incidence of developing conditions such as depression and anxiety that often accompany a diagnosis of ADHD.

That’s right you are taking a journey back to the stone age. To be more exact, the Paleolithic Era, long for Paleo. Why is the caveman visualized as such a strong, viril, healthy hunter? Well he ate Protein, and anything else he could find to put in his mouth that wouldn’t kill him and hopefully would taste good.

Modern day man is bombarded with a plethora of diet options. Many diets discourage large amounts of meat intake, restrict carbohydrates, or focus largely on fruits and vegetables. The Paleo diet, however, is unique because it is based on the diet of the very first humans.

The Paleo Diet is also referred to as the Hunter Gatherer Diet because it consists of food that can be hunted (such as meat or seafood) and gathered (such as fruits, nuts, vegetables, etc.). Which translates to running down his source of protein and killing it – Great Exercise combined with healthy fresh food. Unlike man today who jumps in his car, drives to the closest fast food source and gobbles down a couple Hamburgers, Fries and Shake. No exercise and food loaded with preservatives, fillers and who knows what else. Essentially, the Paleo diet takes the diet used by early humans prior to tractors or farm animals and applies it to modern-day foods.

The core principle of the Paleo Diet is that humans are genetically suited to eat the foods that our ancestors consumed. A concise, to the point definition, the Paleo diet imitates the foods that every single human on earth consumed before the rise of agriculture. The Paleo diet contains foods that have very high nutritional value, such as lean meats, seafood, fruits, and vegetables. And NO, you don’t have to run down your prey and kill it or spear fish in the nearest body of water. Wow, isn’t that great. However we do suggest other means of exercise more suited to modern man. The diet also shuns food ingredients that were created after the agriculture revolution, such as grains, dairy products, sugar, and salt because these products can lead to an increase in weight and a higher chance of developing health problems such as diabetes.

It is no wonder that athletes are fans of the Paleo Diet because of its high protein content. Some foods that are basic to the diet are meat, chicken, fish, fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Paleolithic man would like you to keep these fundamentals in mind when choosing which vegetables to eat. You should look for root vegetables, but make sure to stay away from potatoes and sweet potatoes. One reason these foods are healthy for you is because they are free of additives, which most modern men now know are proven to be harmful to your health.

Is Composting The Future Of Landfill Diversion

As there’s pressure from society regarding organic waste collection and the production of greenhouse gases mixed with targets of landfill diversion, a few are really trying to observe the manner in which they’ll attain their objectives. The second part happens with the normal draft induction process. Air enters the Vee-Stack from the bottom which greatly enhances the composting process in the chamber. If you know what a chimney fire is then you get a good concept of how the Vee-Stack operates. When thermal patterns increase in the stack, microbes which do well at greater temps become alive. In most cases this is referred to as the Stoichomatic range. For traditional composting techniques, these thermal ranges pose a fire threat and must be avoided no matter what, yet with in vessel building these temperatures are harnessed for process promotion. The fear of fire is eliminated from this process due to the high moisture content. The microbes eat all the smelly gases and hydrogen sulfides that create problems with other methods of composting. The machine basically functions as it’s personal bio filtration system. The Vee Stack is totally self contained; and, it even gathers and recycles leechate back into the system so that it can be composted, also.

We also watch over, upkeep, manage the Vee Stack and take away the finished substance.
